Whining... :(

The more I learned on quantum mechanics and high energy physics.. the more I feel that my brain is not ready for this level... I really don't want to go this deep, on the particle level where we have to consider its movement, velocity, force, energy, etc... botlzman equation, fluid equation, whatever... derive this.. derive that then integrate this and that.. microscopic motion whatever.. Urghh...

Honestly, I don't care about how the particles move, collide of whatever.. They can collide, scattered or have a momentum or have a complicated magnetic wave whatever...

I just want out of this...

I found out the way to deal with this situation is by accepting it.. So, I just spent some time reading the material (well, you know I'm always m.a.l.a.s).. So, it was actually not that bad... It just when the instructor teach us... It looks really complicated and I end up feeling no interest and maybe a little intimidate with it.. Now, I see that there is light at the end of the tunnel... :)

Ok.. nak dijadikan cerita.. Aku dengan suka hatinya register untuk amik "SPEAK Test" (Speaking Proficiency English Assessment Kit Test)

Bila orang tanya, apsal ko amik test tu? Aku cakap "Just for fun!" Seriously? Ada ke orang amik test just for fun? Well, that is half true.. I indeed that this test for fun... First of all, it's free.. So, why not? Secondly, aku teringin nak tau kalau aku amik speak test ni.. berapa la agaknya aku dapat.. so, second reason is curiosity...

Tapi bak kata orang puteh... curiosity killed the cat.. Tak pasal2 je hari ni aku berdebar2 mengambik test ni.. Siap rasa nak lari lagi.. panic attack! Walaupun semalam aku dah practice, aku tetap rasa aku screwed up the test.. huhuhu.. One of the task is to give the direction based on the map given.. masa diberi 30 saat.. Bila aku bagi direction, tup2 aku sedar yang aku tersilap.. and times up! Waaaaaa!!! stupid! stupid! I don't know which one is more stupid? Me taking the exam or me giving the wrong direction... Urghhh...

Talking about half true, the other reason I took this test is because if somehow I got a good mark on this test.. I will have a chance to apply for a T.A (Teaching Assistant) position. The reason other people taking this test is this actually, but for me I can't say that it was my intention. Anyway... I'm very tempted to try and apply for a T.A (if the result favor me).. I'm curious... What is it feel to teach undergrad Americans student? Dulu2 time kat USM, I did became a tutor for 1st year students (when I'm in final year).. So, I think it must be interesting if I can experience it here as well....

So... Let hope the grader ignore my stupid mistakes and give me a good mark.. :p.. If not... It is really just for nothing... Well, nevertheless, I will still say that this is an interesting experience.. :D

Despite this, I still wish I am Paris Hilton..

The story is, I have a midterm exam tomorrow on DSP in RS... And last night instead of having a good sleep, I keep thinking of my master project. For my project, I used a lot of EM but somehow I really miss programming a code. ( I also don't believe it that there will be a day that I'll be missing writing a program..) So, for the whole night last night, I'm thinking on how to make my project automatic. I'm also planning to propose it to my advisor.. So, my brain keep working and working and thinking for the whole night.. I can't sleep! Hence, today I feel damn tired! And I have an exam tomolo!!!! Arghh... My priority is upside down!

FOCUS! Focus! I need to study remote sensing! Say "remote sensing" 44 times... and tomorrow I'll do well! Yes! :p

p/s: I blame Mimi and Purp for this.. You guys always talk about fpga.. fpga.. fpga.. And Mimi, you even said that you love reading the 'Nuclear Electronics' book... Urghhh... it makes me feel inferiority complex! :p

The Phantom Of The Opera...

I realized one of my dreams.... I watched "The Phantom of the Opera"
YES!!!

For those who knew me.. you know that I'm crazy of POTO.. For me it just awesome! And being able to watch it live in the Broadway series is just unbelievable.... I'm still smiling until now.. :)

When my friend told me that they are coming here at St. Louis.. We just like.. "Booked the ticket quickly.. we r not gonna miss it!"

I love all the songs in this play.. The voice of the actors is really really good... So powerful and it is a lot lot better than the movie version.. (Anyway, the movie is also very good)..

Weird?

My friend said it is very weird to be this cold in the middle of October...

Indeed.. it is very cold... and raining.... today (max: 8 celsius min: 6 celsius )

Other note: I have a midterm exam this Thursday.... Hence, I am very busy....

Other other note: I will have a very very very good weekend this weekend... hehehe... tunggguuu!!!

Rajin ke?

Well...

Now, I'm at library doing homework...

And the library is empty! Almost everybody going home and it's just 6.52pm..

The reason...

1. Today is a big game - MU vs Nebraska (American Football).. So, the office is close at 3pm today and the gym close at 7pm.. The game will start at 8pm.. And they will be shown on ESPN.. Most people either go to stadium or be ready at home watch it on TV.

Me? --- Not a fan

2. It's raining the whole day today... If you are not a fan, people prefer to stay home cuddling on bed... Sungguh enak..

Me? --- I start the day early today.. go to reactor to setup my working area., go to class and then library... and haven't sleep since I woke up this morning...

Actually I already do nothing yesterday... Yesterday, I woke up late then go to class then go to gym.. Then go home.. sembang with Gigi.. then mandi and sleep.. (since need to wake up early today).. So, my homework is still low in progress and I have to finished this homework this week... Next week is midterm exam and I need to read a lot since I'm bad on this subject.. Urghhh... Student life is terrible!

So, am I rajin? Then answer is NO.

huhuhu... I'm just feel so isolated in the empty library... Waaaaa!!!!

I don't like the smell of the heater...

Since the weather getting colder and colder... The maintenance people come to check that everything is alright.. My apartment here using a gas heater so the smell is nasty... It bring back memories though... Memory of last year.. I remember that I actually hate winter... It was too cold and I had hard time to concentrate to study when it's too cold...

The best weather is when it's on Fall or Spring.. Not too cold and not too hot..

So, right now.. I have to enjoy my last Fall in United State...

Why can't I be a morning person?

This semester...

Every time my advisor ask me to setup a meeting with him, I always suggest after 11am.. Then one day, he suggest that we meet at 8am.. And without hesitate, I ask him to change it to 8.30 am.. I'm so full of myself that I didn't realize that I'm giving a bad impression of myself...

I just realize it today...

Because, we need to setup a meeting on Thursday but he doesn't have time after 11am.. And he automatically says that maybe the time is not convenient for me, since the only time we have is 9am... So, I'm a little taken aback... Of course I can meet him at 9am.. Why he think that I couldn't make it? Seriously.. I already give him that impression? I'm a bit offended.. huhuhu.. The thing is, I slept late hence I must wake up late as well...

I wish I can be a natural morning person... It must be nice.. but I'm too lazy and my brain work best at night.. Seriously... So now, I feel a bit down.. Anyway, we did setup a meeting at 9am this Thursday... Sure, I can make it.. It just a matter of I want or I won't... It's never a matter of I can or I can't...

2. My just for close friends potluck party

Aku akan cerita event no. 2 dulu... Sebab.. Dengan bangganya aku annouce... Aku masak gulai ikan buat pertama kalinya.. Hehehe... It may sound pathetic.. Ye la kan, orang lain masak gulai dah seribu kali tak cakap apa pun kan.. tapi... I still want to brag my first time... hehehe.. Dan sekali lagi, aku rasa masakan aku setaraf dengan masakan mak di kampung (maksudnya sedap la wei.. HAHAHA) So, ada dua kesimpulan..

1. I'm a natural with great imagination and talent or
2. Semua orang boleh masak gulai ikan... sesapa masak pun garenti sedap... kira kacang je la nak masak gulai ni...

So.. I go with no. 1!!! HAHAHA...

So.. This weekend is definitely fun... Spending time with friends and forget the homework for one and a half day.. Because.. huhuhu.. I just spent my whole Sunday's night doing a project group for remote sensing subject.. I actually just back home from the library at 12a.m and then write this blog... Because I think this need to be documented (esp.. my first timer gulai ikan.. kekeke)

Finally I got an office... but...

I always want my own office here at Mizzou... Gigi got an office, Yuri, Andry, Rilya.. almost everybody in graduate program have their own office... except those in Electrical Engineering. - i guess.. Because there are too many of us.. Usually for EE, only phd student is guaranty of an office and a very few Master students dependent on their advisor.. So, I always complaint why we EE don't have a convenient of an office like others in other Engineering department.. And now I can happily said that "I got an office!" :)

But... (here come the "but")

My office is not in Engineering building.. It's in reactor research building.. huhuhu.. and it's far! I have to take a bus to go to my office!!! And now my life here become a bit complicated. It is not unexpected though... My project is nuclear related so it is natural that I have to setup my experiment in reactor facility.. BUT I still want my office in engineering building! :( I hate taking a bus... (it's free though) I just want an office like my friends.. waaaa (maaf la dgn luahan tidak bersyukur ni)

So...

It will start next week.. I have to be prepared to adjust my schedule.. Right now, I always lazying around. Doing my project theoretical only.. only in front of computer... Wake up late (this will not change I guess :p) It just now I have to sacrifice my 'free' time to go to the lab and of course.. my new office as well..
